The Traffic Safety Educators Association of California (TSEAC) is a statewide alliance of owners, operators, and instructors of traffic violator schools and driving schools, united by a common purpose: saving lives and making California's roads safer for everyone.
We exist because our work matters. Every driver educated is a potential life saved. Every school that operates with integrity raises the standard for the entire industry. TSEAC exists to support that mission—and to support you.
Strength in Numbers
With more than 100 members working collectively across the state, TSEAC is the voice of the traffic safety education industry in California. We bring together the professionals on the front lines of driver training/education—the people who turn nervous beginners into confident drivers, who transform reckless habits into responsible ones, and who understand better than anyone what it takes to cultivate truly safe driving behavior.
Whether you're navigating a regulatory challenge, looking for peer expertise, or seeking tools to grow your business, TSEAC connects you to the people and knowledge that make a difference.
Advocacy That Moves the Industry Forward
TSEAC actively advocates on behalf of the traffic safety education industry, working to promote fairness, integrity, and healthy competition throughout the field. When the rules of the road for *our* industry are being written, TSEAC makes sure our members have a seat at the table.
TSEAC supports the industry by working hand-in-hand with:
- the California State Legislature
- the California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV)
- local county/city governments
- the California Highway Patrol (CHP)
- local sheriff and police departments
- the California Superior Courts
- the California Court Association (CCA)
Mission Statement
TSEAC supports the professionals who make California's roads safer—through education, advocacy, and a community built on shared purpose.
Individually, TSEAC members are dedicated to saving lives and enhancing safety by cultivating in drivers, prospective drivers, and the general public the knowledge, attitudes, and skills that will allow for the most competent and safest possible operation of motor vehicles on our roadways. As an organization, TSEAC aims to grow the strategic partnerships and provide the resources and support necessary to enhance members' ability to serve the public interest and pursue their chosen profession. As such, TSEAC fosters professional development within the traffic safety education industry and is committed to creating and sustaining a healthy business and regulatory environment within the state.
